I started regular attendance in Power Yoga and Yin Yoga classes from 2012 in Brisbane. After moving to Canberra in 2016, I was looking for a way to continue my journey with Yoga and take it a step further.
In January 2017, I completed my studies with Yoga Trinity to become a Vinyasa Flow Yoga Instructor. I enjoy teaching people what I have learned and continue to develop my knowledge and exploration of yoga, working towards specialising in the services I mention in my mission below.
My professional career has been in customer service and administration roles. Currently, I am an Office Manager so I teach part-time. With 20 years of various experiences, I can appreciate the need to create a work-life balance and Yoga has been the method for balancing my wellbeing.
The Yoga with Sare mission is to provide introductory and beginner level Yoga classes and workshops, restorative and therapeutic Yoga services to organisations and individuals seeking the benefits of Yoga.
What drives my mission?
I want to help people that would like to access Yoga, but have challenges in getting into a regular practice. These challenges could be physical, psychological, geographical or time related. They may arise in a large mainstream group class situation or that there’s no local class and You Tube videos are all you can get. Personal classes with a teacher’s direct guidance can ensure a safe start to your Yoga practice. They can also be a great way to enhance your continuing personal practice.
